More Roses … And Another Flutter-by

Today, Gertrude Jekyll and Heritage have joined the other roses in a late-summer bloom.  Pat Austin and Double Delight also had blossoms for us today.  The Abelia continues to exert its magnetic attraction to butterflies.  Today it drew in a dark-form female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.  While having been through the wars — wings worn and tattered — this unusual visitor was most welcome.  Here she is.
