The Roses of September

Fisherman's Friend has continued its flush, giving us some wonderful flowers.  Heritage opened up a very unusual blossom — a single flower!  I traced the cane so I know it's Heritage, it smells like Heritage, but I have never seen a flower with so few petals on Heritage in all the years that I've had it.  Judge for yourself from the photos below.  In other garden news, the Hosta in the back yard have at last bloomed.

  1. Thanks for the rose information.  It seems that if I get near a rose, it commits suicide.  So I need all the info I can get.
