… have been conspiring to make me look silly! 😉 Here I thought that with the first light frost, things would go to sleep in the garden. I was wrong. We've had lots of rain and lots of warm weather, into the sixties, and the roses just keep right on blooming. There are five in bloom right now: Fisherman's Friend, Gertrude Jekyll, Heritage, Pat Austin, and Winchester Cathedral. Heritage certainly seems to be trying to make up for lost time. Given the buds that are out there, if the cold weather continues to hold off, there will be more roses still. Here's Gertrude Jekyll.
