| Melody Parfumee |
Melody Parfumee was a late-bloomer, giving this first blossom well after the other new roses had finished with their first flush. However, it more than made up for it with a half-dozen very fragrant roses. Here's a shot of the first bloom of 1999.
Melody Parfumee, though a hybrid tea, tends to form lovely candelabras of blooms.
May 2000, and Melody Parfumee is once again blossoming.
Melody Parfumee is putting on quite a show during early June.
Melody Parfumee has joined the other roses in bloom -- Memorial Day weekend, 2001.
Melody Parfumee has bloomed in 2002, one of the last roses to do so.
It's early June, 2003, and Melody Parfumee has produced its first bloom.
It's the end of July and Melody Parfumee has produced its second flush.
Mid-October, and Melody Parfumee is still in bloom.
Melody Parfumee came through the severe winter of 2003-2004 in better shape than most of the other roses and has begun to bloom in late May.
Melody Parfumee came through the winter of 2004-2005 in fine shape and has begun to bloom in early June, 2005.
Melody Parfumee has begun to open its first bud today, 24 May 2006.
The heavy rains of June have discolored some of the flowers and caused some of the buds to ball, but Melody Parfumee continues to provide quite a show!
It's mid-July and Melody Parfumee has set lots of new buds and is getting into action again.
It's now getting toward late August and Melody Parfumee, having taken some time off, has opened this beautiful blossom.
The Memorial Day weekend 2007 brings with it the bloom of Melody Parfumee, which has grown very vigorously this year.
Just after Memorial Day, Melody Parfumee is standing about eight feet tall and is covered with blooms.
Late July sees Melody Parfumee once again in bloom.
Late August sees Melody Parfumee still in bloom.
September and still going strong!
The end of September ....
A few days after Memorial Day, 2008, Melody Parfumee has bloomed, seemingly overnight.
Into early June and going strong.

Mid-July finds Melody Parfumee back in bloom.
Mid-May 2009 brings the bloom of Melody Parfumee.
It's mid-July and Melody Parfumee has put out this exquisite candelabrum!
