| Sunbright |
Sunbright was purchased to replace Shimmering Memory, which died during the winter of 2004-2005. It's a brilliant yellow rose that is well reviewed and I hope it does well in the garden. Here it is still in it's pot; it's now in the ground.

Sunbright was planted and has now grown and opened a new bud.

The new Sunbright seems to be quite floriferous -- this is a bud that's grown since it was planted.

It's late July and Sunbright has put forth another blossom.

It's the end of May 2006 and Sunbright has bloomed. Though it's one of the last to bloom, allowances have to be made given that it's on the north-facing side of the house.

It's late June and with all the rain we've had, things are getting a little brown around the edges ....

It's the middle of July and Sunbright has decided to join the other roses in the mini-flush.

We're getting toward late August and Sunbright has opened another pair of blossoms.

September bring another blossom.

Early October sees yet another bloom. Fall is a time when things slow down, including roses. It took a full week to go from the first photo to the second.

Yet another bud is beginning to open in mid-October's suddenly mild weather.

November sees probably the last of the year.

Sunbright has bloomed on Memorial Day, 2007.

Late June has Sunbright ready to bloom again.

Late July brings more blooms.

Late August brings still more blooms.

September and still going strong.

The transition from May to June 2008 brings with it the bloom of Sunbright.

Sunbright was badly damaged by the miserable winter of 2008-2009 (it faces dead north) and though it put out some new growth in the spring of 2009, that growth died off and sadly, Sunbright has passed on from my garden.
