| Wood Hyacinth |
The wood hyacinth are quite similar to the bluebells but blooms a few weeks earlier.
Another pleasant bulb surprise in 1999 were these wood hyacinth that sprang up just as the grape hyacinth were dying back.

The wood hyacinth have bloomed in 2000, in a location where I had forgotten they were planted -- a most pleasant surprise!.

The wood hyacinth have popped up during the first week of May, 2001.


The Wood Hyacinth have bloomed in 2002.


It's late May, 2003, and the wood hyacinth have bloomed.


It's late May 2004 and the wood hyacinth are in bloom.


It's the third week of April 2005 and the wood hyacinth have bloomed.


In late April and early May 2006, the wood hyacinth have bloomed.





Early May 2007 brings the bloom of the wood hyacinth.



The third week of April 2008 finds the wood hyacinth beginning to bloom.





Still blooming in mid-May. I've now straightened out the wood hyacinth and bluebells pages so that the photos are on the correct pages; it's pretty easy to confuse the two.
