Sad to Say

With my health continuing to go downhill, I’ve been unable to care for the roses. I can’t get down and plant new ones since I would need someone to help me get up again. Pruning is very difficult — I have surgery upcoming on my right hand to try to restore some usefulness to it. It was diagnosed with severe carpal tunnel syndrome. So … the rose garden in the side yard is now gone, just lawn remains. The same holds true for the rose garden in the back yard. Sic transit gloria mundi.
